Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion Treatment

There are 4 basic steps in the treatment:

1- A consultation with our expert beautician will determine your individual needs and they will devise a treatment plan to ensure the best results for you. Microdermabrasion can be a one of ‘refreshment’ or consist of multiple courses over a period of time.

2 – Your skin will have a thorough cleanse before any treatment to ensure it is clean and dry before commencing. For male clients it is best to shave the night before, as this ensures the treatment can reach the skin unobstructed.

3 – A fine jet of abrasive crystals will be passed over the skin using a hand controlled wand. Dead skin particles will be abraded from the surface and the debris removed by a slightly ticklish vacuum action. This dual action technique resurfaces the skin and stimulates the blood flow, gaving facial muscles a mini workout, encouraging the skin to rejuvenate itself and produce collagen and elastin. After an initial pass, the therapist will then target problem areas like open pores, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and acne scarring.

4 – Following the treatment a simple moisturiser will be applied and specific advice on your after treatment care given. You will then receive precise instructions to ensure the maximum benefits of this amazing system and prevent the skin becoming dry, peeling and to help stop issues returning. It is essential to protect the treated skin from excessive sun exposure by applying a moisturiser with an SPF.
